1/2 lb ground beef or lamb
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Salt to taste
2 tbsp pine nuts
2 tbsp olive oil
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Hummus:

Cook the Spiced Meat:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
Add the ground beef or lamb, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
Stir in the ground cumin, ground allspice, ground black pepper, and salt.
Cook until the meat is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
In a separate small pan, toast the pine nuts in the remaining olive oil over medium heat until golden brown, keep stirring until done.
Assemble the Dish:
